RAN's promotion of training events
We are committed to helping our Members, and any other organisations who provide Information and Advice in Reading, give the best possible service to their clients.
That means helping our Members achieve the RAN Quality Standard accreditation, offering free support and guidance throughout the assessment process to help build our Members' capacity through sharing knowledge, training and specialist expertise.
We are continue to assist our Members to find training that meets their needs and those of their clients, often through the dissemination of information about courses that other Members are accessing or providing.
We do not intend, at the moment and unless our resources & funding are increased, to provide training commissioned or run by RAN ourselves: we see that as a role for other organisations, but we will always publicise and share training opportunities when we are made award of these.
