Reading Borough Council continue to support us and our work by stating, in the documentation for the second round of the "Narrowing the Gap" Framework, that:
If successful in their Narrowing the Gap II bid to provide information advice or guidance, all organisations will be expected to achieve RAN Quality Standards accreditation or a suitable alternative.
Member of Connect Reading:
RAN firmly believes in the importance of partnerships and networking opportunities, so joining the Connect Reading partnership was a natural fit.
Connect Reading is a registered charity that helps businesses based in Reading meet their Corporate Social Responsibilities, helping them and their employees get involved with community projects and initiatives, putting them in touch with local charities who have also joined the partnership.
Our funding
We were very grateful to The Earley Charity for supporting us as we transitioned from Project to Independent Charity. Our funding from the Earley Charity has now ceased but was vital in our early development.
The Earley Charity is one of the largest local grant-making charities in central southern England. Its object is the relief of need among elderly, disabled or poor people living in our area of benefit. The Charity’s terms of reference also make it possible for us to fund community, educational, informational, cultural, sporting, recreational and social initiatives
