"Effective Supervision"

The Eighth RAN Advice Forum opened with awards of the RAN Quality Standard to there RAN members, then defined 'supervision' in that Quality Standard.

Two RAN member organisations explained how supervision of staff and volunteers worked in their charity, and those presentations were followed by RAN's Quality Standard Assessor describing the different approaches she'd seen while observing RAN members during assessment for that Standard.Eighth Forum

A discussion between attendees considered:

  • What does efective supervision look like in your organisation?
  • What are the problems we encounter?
  • What could we do better?
